Apela Colorado - Hawaiian Native Elder
Pamela Colorado, Oneida Nation, Ph.D., Harvard and Brandeis Universities, has centered her life’s work on the revitalization and continuation of Native knowledge and Native life. Dr. Colorado co-founded the Worldwide Indigenous Science Network in 1989. In 1997, Dr. Colorado was one of twelve women, chosen from 52 countries by the State of the World Forum, to be honored for her leadership role.
