- I think we all share much the same needs, for love, for understanding, and to have the best for those we love, and to really make a difference in this world, even if it is just to one other person.

- I really believe that love is everything there is. All we have to do is look at its equally powerful opposite, hate, to see how it tears the world apart with suffering and agony and bitterness. Then we come to appreciate that love is not some cheap sentiment, but the most powerful force in the armament of truth and beauty and well being.

- The wonderful Irish poet, John O'Donohue said the wellspring of love is within every one of us, not one of us was sent here without it, and its incredible what one person can do who comes from that place.

- We all talk about personal power these days, but what does that actually mean? To me it means putting the strength of your convictions into action. And it doesn't happen in a week-long seminar. It's the choices we make everyday.

- One of my favorite lines from Caroline Myss is "that this new age has replaced our backbones with wishbones". I think it's long overdue that we straighten up and look life right in the eye. Only then can we hope to successfully tackle its challenges and live a full and exciting and accomplished life.

- There's the old cliché if you can dream it, you can achieve it. To a great extent it’s true. So you can't let other people's opinion of you diminish you, or stop you. David Whyte said it much more eloquently, "If you take only one step, and its truly your own step, then you have saved the only life you can save". If you can get out of your way incredible things can happen.

- I am so grateful for the opportunity of doing this work. I hope the Quest will inspire your life as it has mine. These people, these wonderful minds who grace the Quest, are some of the most genuine, generous and insightful human treasures we are fortunate to have in our midst. I thank them for sharing their extraordinary words of wisdom with us and their passion for life.
