FINANCIAL FREEDOM
Building Your Wealth Cycles
The Ultimate Wealth Technology
"First comes thought, then
organization of that thought into ideas and plans. Then transformation
information of those plans into reality." -- Napoleon Hill
Take a moment now to picture the financial life you want. Can you
see it in your mind? Are you ready to take the steps in order to
live that life? Do you want to know the step-by-step process that
made me a millionaire by the time I was thirty-four? The same step-by-step
process that I continue to use today? The same process that has
created millionaire status in three to five years for many of my
clients?
You'll be glad to know that it is well within your reach. Most people
and programs teach you conceptually and theoretically how you can
be successful financially. I will take you beyond the conceptual
learning and show you how to reach your desired level of financial
success step by step. I will show you not only how to think, live,
and breathe as if you were already financially successful, but also
how to lead and take action so that you can accelerate your financial
success materially and spiritually.
Get ready to embark on a journey where you will soon experience
powerful changes in your life. Your self-esteem, resourcefulness,
personal power and the control you have over all financial concerns
will grow exponentially. Practically overnight!!!
I know it can be very difficult to know exactly where to begin.
Many people today are buried in debt, barely meeting their financial
needs, and can see no end in sight. I am hear to tell you that it
doesn't matter if you're a 21-year-old college student knee-deep
in debt or a 57-year-old forced to take early retirement. It doesn't
matter if you're a 32-year-old divorced mother of two struggling
to live on child support and alimony or a happily married 73-year-old
grandfather of four. No matter whom you are or where you are at,
the program I will be sharing with you has proven, step-by-step
procedures that will take you from the depths of debt to the heights
of financial freedom.
Ready? Let’s go!
Just as you follow a recipe to cook your favorite meal, there are
specific steps, ingredients and measurements required to become
financially successful. You build and grow upon a solid foundation
by following the proven methods of those who have already accomplished
that which you seek. We call this recipe our Wealth Technology.
There are three components to our Wealth Technology:
Financial Conditioning
Financial Foundation
Wealth Acceleration
Your financial conditioning is the way you think about money. The
way you think will always impact your decision-making process.
Very few of us had any degree of financial education growing up.
What most of us had was an education based on messages like “we
can not afford it, don’t ask for anything, you do not deserve
it, rich people are bad, or you have to work hard for your money.
If this is what you heard growing up, most likely, you still believe
it at a cellular level and are making all of your financial decisions
based on these old messages.
These messages have also created the thought that talking about
money and financial success is inherently wrong or bad. What this
has created is a world where very FEW people are having the real
conversations about money and financial success that are necessary
to succeed.
I say, “so what, now what?” LIVE OUT LOUD. Have the
conversations about money, success, wealth, finance, investing…life
that you need to have to achieve the life that you want for you,
for your family, for your wealth.
The first thing you must do is reverse your financial conditioning
or reset your mind and psychology to reinforce what it is you do
want instead of supporting the very thing you would like to move
away from. To do this you must identify your sabotaging beliefs.
These are the thoughts and attitudes that you have that limit your
results. Once you have identified them you must change them to the
positive present tense and then repeat, repeat, repeat!
Example of a sabotaging belief about money
Money is hard to earn and even harder to keep.
Example of a positive re-statement of a sabotaging belief
Money comes freely to me! Money is easy to keep and multiply!
This may seem like a relatively simple exercise, let
me assure you it is not. To really drill down to find the core sabotaging
thoughts that are holding you back, and restate them positively
will make every cell in your body revolt against you. There are
a wide range of responses you may have from simply thinking to yourself
that this is stupid, to becoming physically ill. Face each of these
challenges as reinforcement that what you are doing is right. Put
your positive restatements on flash cards in your pocket, post-its
on your computer, and flip chart paper around your house. Look at
it and say them out loud every chance you get. You will be amazed
at how quickly your thinking and your results change.
Your financial foundation is the framework that you build your success
on and around. Just like your house or a cities skyscraper, without
a solid foundation, the building will crumble and fall with the
slightest provocation. In other words, you need to know the reality
of where you are TODAY, have a solid idea of where you want to go
in the FUTURE and a plan to get from your TODAY to your FUTURE.
There are four steps to building a rock solid financial foundation.
The first step is creating your financial baseline. This is your
financial fingerprint. This is where you are TODAY. This includes
all of your income (earned and passive), your expenses, your assets
and your liabilities. You need to know your net worth and your cash
flow per month.
This step is often a wake up call for many people. Either they are
much further in debt than they ever imagined or have more assets
than they knew about. It is essential that you are 100% honest with
yourself when doing this step. If you leave anything out, or try
to make anything look better than it is, you will end up failing
in the long run.
The second step is to determine your financial freedom day. This
is where you want to be in the FUTURE. This is the day that you
will live your “want to life” versus your “have
to life”. The life where you want to go to Tahiti and can
because you are financially free versus you want to go to Tahiti
and can’t because you have to work.
So, choose a date, whether it is one year from now or ten years
from now, as the day you will be able to declare you are financially
free. What is that date? What is your monthly income? What is your
yearly income? Is this earned, passive or aggressive? Design this
day as specifically as you can, knowing that you can make adjustments
as you grow.
The third step is managing your lifestyle cycle. This is where you
take a close look at your lifestyle and how it impacts your financial
success. Where and how do you spend your money? Are you living above
your means and sinking into consumer debt just to portray a certain
image to the world? Are you living below your means and hording
your money, worried about a rainy day?
Once you look at it honestly you can begin to make informed decisions
to change. Maybe you don’t need that latte every morning.
Maybe you should take the money out of your mattress and invest
it. No matter where you are at, I guarantee you will find a significant
amount of money and resources that are being wasted in some way
or another. Re- channeling these resources is the next step in this
process.
The fourth step is to build a wealth cycle. This is where you structure
your plan and frame your actions so that your core needs are handled
automatically, while at the same time future pacing the achievement
of your long term goals, all with the money that you currently earn.
Sound impossible? Sound crazy? When you successfully complete the
first three steps of your financial foundation, this part is easy.
You do this by purposely spending every single penny that you earn.
This results in rent and bills are paid, college tuition is taken
care of, retirement money being saved, and insurance needs being
met.
The acceleration of your wealth is to leverage your current assets
to generate even more wealth. You do this through owning businesses,
utilizing investment strategies like real estate, stock market and
gas wells, taking advantage of tax saving plans like IRA’s
and educational benefits, and using entity structuring techniques
such as forming LLC’s or Corporations.
Did that last sentence just overwhelm you? Don’t worry! One
of my favorite sayings is “You have to lead it; you do not
have to do it”. What this means is it your job to take a pro-active
leadership role in your financial success however you do not have
to have all the specialized knowledge, talent or expertise yourself.
No one I know has ever become financially successful doing it alone.
Every one of them, including me, has done it through the use of
teams. I call mine My Wealth Team.
Leading a team requires a significant amount of skill. You must
be an effective communicator, dynamite task master, persuasive negotiator
not to mention a keen observer. All of these are skills that will
take time and effort to acquire. This is why wealth acceleration
is the most often ignored step in building financial success. It
is also the ONLY step that will take you beyond where you are at
and to where you want to be.
I trust if you are reading this book, you are at a cross roads in
your life, and are looking for your next steps. I have just laid
out for you step by step how I transformed myself into a millionaire
by the time I was thirty-four. I diligently worked on and through
my financial conditioning. I clearly established my financial foundation.
To this day I actively lead my wealth team to accelerate my wealth.
Whether you are fourteen, forty-four or ninety four, the same is
possible for you.
I highly encourage you to start these steps today. Don’t hesitate
any longer. Seize your success…choose your destiny…LIVE
OUT LOUD.
